Growing up in rural Australia with sporadic time in The Philippines made for an eclectic childhood. That blend of worlds sparked a lifelong fascination with the connections between seemingly disparate ideas. Originally a business graduate, I’ve always been captivated by how art and commerce can merge. Filmmaking for brands became my outlet: a way to incorporate storytelling, sound, and image into something both expressive and strategic.

Today, alongside building Furu, I’m also an active investor in public markets. Given my creative background, my investing emphasis lays predominantly on the qualitative side. As a film-lover, I’ve been drawn to visionary auteurs and the same applies to the world of business. I love spotting talented leadership that can think laterally and execute with artistic finesse. My public portfolio here.

For me, business is a creative expression analogous to directing films; a process of juggling departments, problem-solving and steering towards a unique vision.
